Good tutorial especially since its aimed for beginners. Teaches the key concepts and doesnt just *spoon feed* the beginners it explains the action script very good.

this has got to be one of the top 3 greatest games that i have ever played its so cool dude. Im hoping that you make more games like this.

Ps. What i do is when im fighting all the colors (red,yellow,green)
i go after red first and when i have a reasonable amount i divide them into 2 halfs
1 half is pure army (the ones that just make ur ships) and you can guess what i made the other half =)

it woulda been a 9/10 but you left some parts cliff hanging such as the first part where you need 5 frames for your player it would of been better to be more specific such as 5frames inside the player that you made into a movie clip or so-so but other than that good job
